High CPU with 4GB+ files
« on: April 13, 2008, 09:45:24 AM »

I noticed this in the last week or so and I think  its related to some updates released to debian lenny, but I'm not sure. At first I thought it was the last few SVN releases, so I went back to some older mid-march releases and it still did the same thing. I just  noticed  its directly related to large files because when i stopped the download, the CPU usage went back to normal (3~10%).  I cant really narrow it down any more than that and the debug  log  isnt showing anything that could be related to that, at least as far as I can tell. I'm not sure what I can do to fix it though... Any insight?

Hello,

Same thing here with me, and it just happens as soon as I add some file that is bigger than 4GB.

My CPU goes up to 99% usage and it's almost impossible to access amulecmd or amuleweb (I've build amuled, don´t know if this happens on normal GUI builds)

Let's see if someone has an idea what is causing this.

Cheers...  ;)

The new one!!!... 2.2.1  ;D

I've compiled it on an Ubuntu 6.06 with wxWidgets 2.8.*, and as soon as I add some file bigger than 4GB
the cpu goes up to 99% usage...
