I'm new to amule since up until now there wasn't a fast internet connection available where I live (Italiy, in the remote mountains...)
I'm using amule 2.1.3 on Mac OS 10.4.11 and I've startedt up- and downloading a few files painfully slow... most of the time somewhere between 0,3kb and 1,3kb download and about the same as upload. (I don't write this in order to whine about the speed, just to make you understand that loosing the downloaded files and re-starting all over would be really very frustrating.
Here's what happened. My computer crashed, subsequently I could not disconnect amule properly. When I restartet again, the files in the "file transfer window" were no longer there. Since people are still uploading parts from me, the original files seem to be still there. Even though it's hard for me to judge, since they're all called "part 2", "part3" etc. and I don't know which is which... How can I get the list back?!? Or, if I really can't, how do I identify those files that I already started downloading, so that I can search and download the missing pieces? Thank you very much! You're help is greatly appreciated!
