Downloaded 2.5.5 a day ago; would not open on my OSX 10.4.11.

Is it this: aMule-2.2.5-aDebug-GeoIP-OSX10.4+.dmg?
It's strange: I tested it on 10.4.11 PPC and it worked fine.
Does it bounce on dock and nothing else?
Try to launch it from Terminal, so:
/Applications/aMule-2.2.5/aMule.app/Contents/MacOS/amule

However yesterday I prepared some new packages that I'm testing.
I'm going to update my post.

My 2.2.2 kept working, but restarted and now that has vanished. Went to official site, "0 files" for OSX, for either 2.2.4 or 2.2.5.

Will it be working soon? Can I get back my 2.2.2 somehow?

Can you explain?

gtoso:

Thank you indeed! The link you gave downloaded like a professional application and works nicely! You are very kind. I wonder whether it's best to advise people to trash their previous version before downloading. It might or might not have been the problem. I wonder why that link isn't available at the amule site (www.aule.org --> Downloads --> MacOSX)? http://www.amule.org/files/files.php?cat=41 yields "0 files".

While I'm here, you may be interested in a little feedback. The previous update (a couple of months ago? 2.2.2) was a huge leap forward; my aMule had almost ground to a halt. However, 2.2.2 did introduce a few glitches. All but one appear to have been fixed by the 2.2.5:

*Server list: left side was chopped off, now fixed, although bumped right up against the edge of the window (no problem).

*Searches (kad): the blue progress tube at the bottom was and still doesn't appear. This is no big deal.

*Transfers: double-clicking on a transfer tube in 2.2.2 opened up the individual source tubes, but it was very hard to get it to conflate back again. This is fixed.

*Transfers: it was hard to control the scrolling up (it went sideways uncontrollably when you tried to scroll to the top). Fixed.

Very good work!

Thank you.

The merit goes to the developers and all those who contributed.
I simply tried to get that everything work fine on Mac.

PS: I updated my post with new packages.

Hi, I had trouble downloading the 2.2.5 version. When I finally got it downloaded it wouldn't decompress the dmg, saying something about the disk image being incomplete or something. Is this something from me or what? It's been a bitch getting the file to download, I keep getting an error page. Anyways, any help?
