Maybe I should be more specific: why do we need to switch from crypto++5.5.2 to crypto++5.6.0?
I understand that the new version contains some bug-fixes. But: is it really necessary for aMule?
If not I would suggest to wait for a more suitable release.

Well, with the build-at-the-users-site philosophy we have to use whatever the user throws at us, meaning whatever is included in his current distro. And usually you should always use latest versions of course - there are reasons people are working on the software. And they will quickly reject bug reports about old versions (like we do). However, sometimes regressions happen.

Maybe the old concept of bundling the crypto stuff with aMule wasn't so bad after all.
