I compiled aMule 2.2.6 on centos5. After installing all the packages amule asks for, aMule is running when I type amule at the command prompt. The IPtables are set.
When I run "amuled" it starts and runs in the background. But now I cannot connect through the web or with amuleGUI from a windows computer. On windowsXP I get the following message:
Connection Failed. Unable to connect to server10:4712. External Connection: Access denied because: Authentication failed, invalid hash specified as EC password.I got the amuleGUI from
http://amule.jimdo.com/.
When connecting with amuleGUI I see the following in the logfile:
