aMule 2.2.6 crashes on OS X 10.5.8
« on: August 13, 2011, 03:27:52 PM »

Using Mac OS X 10.5.8 (9L31a) and the latest version of aMule binary for OS X from this forum.

I have my temp directory on an external drive normally. Yesterday 2.2.5 did not shut down and I force-quit it. Today it didn`t start anymore. The icon would jump up a few times but then stop. The GUI didn`t even appear. I changed the fiilenames of all files in the aMule directory in Application Support, always one at a time and tried to start aMule 2.2.5. This did not work.
Today I updated to 2.2.6 with my external drive tunred off. aMule loaded. I started the external drive, assigned the temp directory in aMule`s preferences to the external drive, shut down aMule and started it again.
But now it crashes again everytime I try. aMule 2.2.6 loads and then crashes.
Sometimes there is enough time before it crashes to read the error message as displayed on the screenshot:
Credits: Error while creating signature: OS_Rng: open /dev/urandom operation failed with error 24
