Hello,
I have a very persistent problem with running aMule 2.2.6-1 on Router Station Pro, OpenWRT, Backfire 10.03.1. I have tried many different things but now I really run out of ideas. I have even tried to reflash my RS Pro but the problem was not solved. Apart from USB HDD related packages OpenWRT is otherwise a perfectly clean install. However, the problem remains the same even without those packages.
After aMule is installed I run it for the first time
export HOME=/usr/share/amule
amuled
Thus /usr/share/amule/.aMule/amule.conf and many other files are created.
Then I generate password string and put it into amule.conf:
[ExternalConnect]
AcceptExternalConnections=1
ECAddress=
ECPort=4712
ECPassword= password string
ShowProgressBar=1
Enabled=1
Password= password string
and copy
clients.met, clients.met.BAK, cryptkey.dat, emfriends.met, ipfilter.dat, ipfilter_static.dat, key_index.dat, known.met, known2_64.met, lastversion, load_index.dat, logfile, logfile.bak, muleLock, nodes.dat, preferences.dat, preferencesKad.dat, server.met, server_met.old, shareddir.dat, src_index.dat
from another instance of a working aMule installation running under Debian.
The problem is that after rebooting RS Pro and
root@OpenWrt:/# export HOME=/usr/share/amule
root@OpenWrt:/# amuled
amuled: OnInit - starting timer
Initialising aMuled 2.2.6 using v2.8.10

……
It seems that my problem has something to do with the Error: Failed to get file system statistics (error 19: No such device). Even after intense Googling I was not able to find a solution. As a matter of fact this exact error has very few if any hits on Google.
And, yes, I almost forgot to mention, I am a newbie to Linux… Actually, the main reason for my purchase of RS Pro was to get some experience with Linux. Since this problem is becoming really frustrating to me any help would be much appreciated.
Best regards
