I have a list of files I am trying to download.
Now there is no parts to download or upload.
That is I have no sources at the moment.
I just see the amount of sources increase.
Shall I just wait or try to start downloading the
files again?

Now are there sources or not?

There are sources like 0/60+4 and so on.
Do I just have to wait or ? The upload seems
very slow when it starts.Must I upload a certain
amount of parts before I can download?

0/60+4 means that you're currently connected to 0 clients, there are 60 unconnected clients (to which you have not yet tried to connect or impossible to connect) and 4 clients are requested for another file. If you click on the file you'll see the clients in the bottom half of the aMule window, and you can see why those 60 clients aren't connected.

Must I upload a certain amount of parts before I can download?
There's no such requirement in aMule.
