ed2k not connected
« on: April 25, 2017, 08:41:27 PM »

Hi,

I use amule 2.3.2 in Debian unstable. It tells me that ed2k is not connected.

I read
https://forum.emule-project.net/index.php?showtopic=161215

and tried
http://edk.peerates.net/servers/online-servers-list, it does not work.

I also cannot inject a server manually (http://91.210.106.133/serverlist).

ed2k-hash is installed, I dont know if it's necessary.

any idea ?

cheers

Klaus

At the top part of the Networks screen you can find a button resembling the "Play" button of a media player. Next to that is an input line, where you can insert an address to download the server list from. Enter http://upd.emule-security.org/server.met there and press the "play" button. aMule should automatically download a server list and connect to ed2k, unless the ED2K checkbox is unticked in Preferences>>Connection.
