download super langsam?

Hallo!

Ich bin vom edonkey-commandline-clinet auf den amule umgestiegen (ober besser: möchter gerne). Jetzt habe ich den amule mal 6 Stunden laufen lassen, alle download hinzugefügt die ich noch im alten "esel" hatte und mal abgewartet....insgesamt habe ich nie mehr als 15 K/s gehabt, gerade (vor etwa 30 min) habe ich den alten donkey0.50-1 vlient angeworfen und bin schon wieder auf mehr als 50 K/s.

Ist es normal das aMule erstmal seine Zeit braucht um in die Gänge zu kommen oder ist aMule generell so langsam??

Wie sind eure Erfahungen?

hey

also e/a MUle arbeiten mit einem credit system...
darum ist es normal das wenn du quasie "neu" anfängst du am anfang nur weniger download raten hast als wenn du schon 1jahr dabei bist... aber kommt ziet kommt rat und es geht vorran ;)
von den porteinstellungen usw hast du ja im edonkey und im amule die selben genommen oder?
sprich selben tcp und udp port? nicht das dein edonkey highID hat und amule nur lowID...

Achso...
Ne, Port und so habe ich genau die selben genommen. Schade war nur das ich die angefangenen downloads vergessen konnte, aber ich werde es überleben.

Und auf was für eine wartezeit kann ich mich einstellen bis der aMule richtig rennt? Hier gehen 10 k/s dauernd raus, und bis jetzt nichtmal 5 k/s permanent rein....

naja
die credits addieren sich ja immer auf...
und je mehr du hochlädst desto merh credits bekommst.....
aber so ca 5-6h bis er ganz gut läuft dauert es schon
und dann kommt es ja noch drauf an ob man deutsche oder internattionale files läd....
da wir böses deutschen ja meist nur 10kb/s hochladen....
aber mit ein wenig gedult.... und so 1-2w wird es schon dauern bis du halbwegs gute credits hast...

Naja, danke auf jeden Fall schonmal. Ich werde es einfach mal ausprobieren und vielleicht poste ich hier einfach mal meine Erfahrungen für den Fall das andere mal das selbe Problemchen haben!

Also hab den aMule auch seit 2-3 Wochen (max 1 Month) laufen und geht wirklich immer besser das Teil :)

Weil grad das Thema bei Credits speichern ist, geht das anhand der ID ?

Hallöchen !

Zum Ersten würd ichs an Deiner Stelle eher mit einer CVS versuchen, da die meist besser laufen. Ich hab hier Fedora Core 2 und die CVS vom 16. am laufen. Rennt super das Teil und ist seit Installation noch nicht einmal abgestürzt. Hab meist so zwischen 120 - 200 KB/s downloadrate und das schon nach ca. 1h Laufzeit. (Hab DSL3000)

Zu den Einstellungen:
Du kommst schneller zu Deinen Credits, wenn Du bei den Verbindungen den Upload-Slot auf 2 kb stellst, da somit ja mehr Clients bei Dir runterladen können. Und die Warteschlangenliste kannste auch auf Maximum stellen, da Du dadurch auch schneller zu neuen Clients kommst.
