hi all
i'm running amule at school (1.26/slack9.1)
i am not downloading anything but am using it to upload stuff such as the slackware isos
except that for some reason i am unable to upload (or download, for that matter)
i tried changing the ports, disabling udp, fiddling with bandwidth settings and i tried to use another computer to download a shared file. got a "queue full" first (noone was visible in the queue) and later i tried again i got a queue rank of 700 or so.
i can see people trying to download my files, but they get ~1k speed and in a second that drops down to 0.01, then 0.00 and then i guess they give up and leave
btw, downloading is pretty bad too. i haven't payed much attention but it seems that the exact same thing happens
is that a firewall? why do i get a highID and why is it capable of transferring anything at all?
crezy idea: a kind of active firewall, that would have a packet sniffer and block traffic accordingly..
connection is very fast, ftp will go as fast as my dsl line at home can download.
please help, i hate to have that comp on 24/7 doing nothing
