amule 2.0 rc3: External Connect on Webinterface
« on: June 26, 2004, 02:18:48 PM »

Hi friends of amule,

i have a problem:

i want to use the webinterface and did everything like described in the HOWTO from this board. I can use the webinterface on the local machine, but not from another client in the network.

I used first the internal port 10000 , where I didn't get any page, and then i used the ECPORT 4712. There I got only a page with access denied. Also I get an error message on the local machine with : wxsocket: Ungültige Signatur in ReadMsg

Does anyone know this problem? I use MDK10. Maybe it has something to do with port blocking ? Or did I configurate somethin wrong ?

faeture requests??? I move this thread to help ;)

well for rc3 you need a patch otherwise you can only connect from localhost...
the patch is in the patch forum, after this recompile your amule...
and also try port 4711 not 4712 if you did no change anything
