Some people is having problems with the rc4 and rc4a versions using the ipfilter. Seems like in some cases is not working properly. PLEASE be very careful if you have limited the ammount to download from international ips by your ISP.

This is un-confirmed right now and under heavy study. We'll release a rc4b ASAP if it's found to be true.

I confirm that using the same ip filter that I used before, with rc4 I have international traffic. I can see also sources in the files that are not from portuguese ips.

I use again rc3 that never shown this problem to me.

Just to tell everyone that the IPFilter is fixed in CVS (Thank pho3n1x and Xaignar), so maybe in a few days there will be a release or maybe a patch.

A notice for portuguese users, I found a really great perl script that converts the ip ranges from bowlfish of windows to the aMule ipfilter.dat format, which is very cool 'cause that way we can always have our ipfilter updated.

The script was done by magotes and it can be downloaded here. You can read more info about this script in here.

The script was dug out from this thread at the forum.

Problem solved: http://www.amule.org/amule/thread.php?goto=lastpost&threadid=2911

Copy the ipfilter_patch.diff in that thread into amule source directory src/ and apply it with
Code: [Select]
patch < ipfilter_patch.diff
