1st, guys it rocks !o)
i'm using rc4 for >100 hours on a MDK-9.2 with a single crash (i can not remember why it hapend)

2nd, i'm pretty much impressed by the Fetures list of aMule rc5, + there're allready 2 RPM

Here are a question + 3 whishes for functions i'd like to have if possible
 

• So is the gzip feature problem (with Razorback) solved with this release ?
• Would it be possible to send a message to a user without having 1) to add him to Friends 2) go to the message window 3) send him a message ?
• I wish the WX GTK stuff will be soon solved for users being able to use latest wx-gtk librairies.
• I also wish more info about how IPFilter's working. There's very few for the moment and i don't know how it works further than the number of "Filtered" clients in Statistics : who are they ? Is the IPFilter list updated and if so, from where ? you know some stuff kinda like Peerguardian for winz.

Now with new anti-freedom laws just passed in here, one needs to know what degree of protection he's got. Even if he's not DL brand new copyrighted stuff. I tell you !

Precisions wanted please :

  So We may upgrade wx to the latest version before installing rc5 RPM + patch ? (that's to be really sure and don't have to read your howto again

* There is a patch, but it's only for the rc5 sources, not RPM. you apply the patch on amule sources, and then recompile it using wx 2.5.2 or >

* Yes, as a matter of fact I implemented it meanwhile will be on today's tarball.
