aMule not starting any more
« on: July 27, 2004, 09:35:35 PM »

Hi,

today I wanted to start aMule but the GUI does not show up. I am using KDE 3.3 Beta 2. Has aMule have a problem with the beta version of KDE? Or is something missing? What packages have to be installed?
I also tried to emerge the RC5 version but I get a compile error. Perhaps because of the same reason why aMule rc4 is not starting any more.

I hope you can help...

I am re-emerging gtk 1.2.x, I think that will resolve the problem...

To show aMule GUI:
rm ~/.aMule/cleints.met

to compile, use the wx rpms in http://dl.amule.org please. Other distro's (specially Gentoo's) are broekn.
Greetings!
