Userhash related banning + messaging problem
« on: August 14, 2004, 09:22:12 PM »

Hello people,I have been pretty impressed with amule both in looks/functionality and performance but I've had a few issues recently.Firstly I was banned by some sort of script or bot automatically by someone I was downloading from..the message I got was this:

Code: [Select]
AUTO MESSAGE: You Was Banned!!! Banreason: Userhash changed
I had not one anything in particular to cause this such as a username change or the like, although I doubt that is the problem....it could be something on their end too such as a not working script or a hacked client trying to block uploads.

Also one user messaged me for a file and after we were done talking and the session was closed, amule kept automatically sending blank messages to this guy every now and then for quite a while until I believe he got pissed off and blocked it...I was away when it was happening so I don't believe I am at fault.

Also this is for a cvs version not too long before the rc5 release and if this better belongs in the bugs section feel free to move it...

Thannks

AUTO MESSAGE: bla bla .. don't worry about. its some emule mod called neomule spamming around with such msgs.. already talked about here on forum.
