High ID network problems
« on: November 14, 2004, 10:06:14 PM »

Hy everybody!

maybe someone can help me with a little problem.
I've been using aMule for long time in my Linux box, and one day I put some NAT rules in my router just to have High ID (I have a 300Kb connection, you know... Brazil... :( ).
Since then, aMule works fine in the first half hour, but suddenly  the network seens to collapse and every application that make use of the network begins do disconnect (Gaim, gkrellm...)
And aMule, uploads crashs to 0Kbps for all users on the queue.
Then I discover that in Low ID my aMule works better than in High ID...
Does anybody knows why this things could be happening?  :(
Thanks all.

cheers!
ps.: Sorry my english.

Try limiting Max connections and Hard connections limit in Preferences -> Connections. Possibly aMule is taking all of your bandwidth if you don't limit it.
Greetings!
