I'm brand new to amule and macs.  I just downloaded amule and cant figure out how to open it on my computer.  when i try to open it it says "There is no default application specified to open the document "aMule-2.0rc7-1mdk-10.0.i586.rpm"".     Can anyone tell me how to open up aMule?????

no, you don't have to use the .rpm file. you have to compile it or install it from... http://download.berlios.de/amule/aMule.zip
It's an old tarball, I mean, it's not current one, but an old one but it 50% works already, so until a new release is out, you can TEST (it's not even 60% functional though, be aware).

If you want to trry current CVS tarball, check http://wiki.amule.org

It is actually rc8 click&run prerelease for Mac!

And Jacobo221, I wouldn't consider a one-week-old prerelease *an old tarball*.

well, kry has worked quite on it since ;)
he's fixed almost all bugs ppl reported on #amule channel so that makes that tarball an old one :PPPPP
