while running... 2 or 3 hours later... with wxGTK-2.5.3 aMule crash when i change preferences but now with 2.4.2 it just crash sometimes...
edit: with 2.5.3 aMule crash while running too

pm me your .eMule file plz ( /home/user/.eMule )
and maybe if you compiled amule with --enable-optimize --disable-debug try now the other way: --enable-debug --disable-optimize

You don't have debug symbols in your executable, the aMule generated backtrace is usually too little information, without debugging symbols, it's almost useless.
Try to follow these instructions to generate a nice backtrace:
