filename cleanup
« on: January 09, 2005, 05:25:35 AM »

I would like to see the name cleanup working just like in emule. Why replace periods by dashes? it seems pretty un-useful to me, replacing periods by spaces is more...let's say obvious. The capitalizing of the words is also a cool feature. Also, the  cleaning of some common tags ([Shar*tor], etc) would be cool.

Thanks.

I think linux/unix users like to do it that way because spaces and cap letters mess up auto-completion in bash and utilities like 'ls' seem to only register one case at a time.I'm considering getting zsh set up sometime to get around the first problem but I have always wondered about the lack of 'ls' options for stuff like this.

Added a bug-report on the issue, cant promise when it'll be fixed though. ;)
