Hello,
i have downloaded: aMule-Mac.cvs2005-03-01.unicode.debug.zip
 and its keep giving me this messages error while i opening the program:

14:52:36?: ?can't create file? '/?Users/Moran?/.?aMule/preferences.dat?' (?error 17?: ?File exists?)?
14:52:36?: ?Failed to set temporary file permissions? (?error 2?: ?No such file or directory?)?
14:52:36?: ?Failed to set temporary file permissions? (?error 2?: ?No such file or directory?)?

and this when i'm try to dowload:

15:47:55?: ?Failed to get file system statistics? (?error 2?: ?No such file or directory?)?
15:47:56?: ?Failed to get file system statistics? (?error 2?: ?No such file or directory?)?
15:47:56?: ?Failed to get file system statistics? (?error 2?: ?No such file or directory?)?

i can: connect to a server, to share files but i CAN'T download!!! (it's always on pause)
what i need to do?

I don't know what the problem is.

Try renaming the (hidden) folder .aMule in your home directory to some other name.  Then run aMule again.  It will create a new .aMule folder from scratch.  Hopefully that problem will go away.  If it does, you can remove the old, renamed one.

To rename the .aMule folder, open Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal and type:

mv .aMule saved.aMule

at the prompt.

Thanks, but it didnt help the amule is not working at all...
soo.. i opened a new user and there is working fine...

Just a shot in the dark, but did you try to remove the eMule prefs file?
/User/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Preferences/eMule Preferences

Ah, and repair permissions afterwards...
