Hi all,

Question 1:

when amuled is runnig, there is way to update settings in /~/.aMule/amuled.conf without kill amuled (rehash) and lost priority in all queues (I would change permission for files in Incoming dir making files readable for all users) :?

Question 2:

is it possible that amuled (CVS of Wed Apr 13 07:01:26 CEST 2005) ignore setting PermissionsFiles=755 and PermissionsDirs=755 in amuled.conf :?

You should not kill amuled. Use amulecmd -c shutdown to terminate it nicely and avoid rehash.

Thats great but the amulegui doesn't shown downloads in shared file window only finished files. They have definitly more than one chunk finished and are shown in webinterface.
By the way I can change every preference?
Hm, accept external connections for ec is deactivated. That can't be because otherwise I couldn't use the remote gui :)
Another point is that the port shown in the remote preferences for webinterface was the old one. After changing to remote.conf the port has changed but the gui didn't realized that.

But hey, it seems really to work. :baby: Many, many thanks for your work.

Yes, that's correct. It's known issue and I'm thinking about way to fix it. by now - only finished files will appear as shared. btw, if you ask me - it's correct behavior: each file is shown only 1 time :) But eventuall I'll make it consistent with regular amule.

May be I should remove several sections from preferences at all. The thing is, that you can't easy set them remotely. Candidates here: EC settings and "shared directories". Also, It would be nice to separate core preferences, which are actuall sent to remote side and gui, which changes appearence of remote gui itself.

That isn't correct because I can't change the upload priority of files I download. By the way I can't change priority of shared files to auto in the remote gui and I can't change the priority of more then one files at once.

This is a very good idea.
