« on: July 25, 2005, 02:31:04 PM »

hey there,

i always get clients on queue: 0

i'm using a router, port forwarding settings are done correctly

i have a high id

what could be the problem?

i'm using amule 2.0.2 on mac os x.
my settings are:

download: 0
upload: 24
slot allocation: 4
client tcp: 6662
client udp: 6665
extended udp: 6672

my amule is sooo slow, i've never gotten more than 2 kbit/sec...

thanks!

Do you share files? If yes, then it might be that nobody wants them...

yes, i share files, and it's true that nobody wants them at the time, but what about the stuff i am currently downloading?
there are many clients at the bottom of the window, most of them are not connected, i guess they want to be connected but they can't connect or something. nothing has been transferred to them.

do you have any ideas why? help would be very appreciated.

try changing to some non -standart ports in your amule-prefs, some ISP are really evil ;)

stefanero, I think 6662,6665,6672 are non-standard ports...

oh, i almost übersah this:

1) i disabled the ipfilter thing, actually i don't know what it means, but it's running without it right now and nothing changed

2) i always get a high id. i just can't upload. i don't get it.

3) i connected to razorback many times.

4) i don't have a firewall on.

strange.
