Shut down amule. open ~/.aMule/amule.conf in your favorite editor and look for the section "[Statistics]". Just set TotalDownloadBytes and TotalUploadBytes to 0, save and start amule again :)

it works one time, bute after another restart download=3463435482 TB  or something...
where does amule get these  numbers?

amule version = 2.1.2

and probably you did not shut down amule while editing...its exactly where thedude wrote

i did, i said above, that it worked one time, the first start after editing...
if i restart then, these numbers appear

well then remove the complete amule.conf like

cd ~/.aMule/
mv amule.conf amule.conf.bak

and restart
