apt-get e amule

ola.
Estou com uma duvida em relação ao amule, esse tal de cvs e apt-get.
praticamente todo programa que instalo no fc3, eu uso o apt-get, pra naum precisar esquentar a cabeça com bibliotecas e dependencias.
e foi atraves do apt-get que eu instalei o amule.
alguem saberia dizer que versao é essa do amule? em que ela difere do cvs atual? (e afinal o que eh o cvs?)
a versao do apt-get ja vem com o suporte ao kadmilia? se sim como habilito?
ou como conseguir um rpm com o kad ja habilitado?
ja que eu naum posso compilar o codigo-fonte do amule, pois faltam diversas dependencias e bilbliotecas, ja que eu rodo o amule num servidorzinho que tenho em casa e ele naum guenta muita coisa no hd (o do sistema  operacional, alem do que eu fiz uma instalação "light" nele, pq o processador dele eh meio fraquinho) sempre tenho que apelar para rpms e apt-get.
quem puder me ajudar agradeço muito.

Voce pode experimentar usar um dos meus rpms pois nao sei kuais funcionarao no seu sistema pois foram feitos em mandrake.Experimente uma das versoes k tenho aki

experimente e me diga kuais os k dao k posso fazer um rpm em versao light (sem X) do amule,so com amuled ,amulecmd e webserver com suporte com kad .....

Para saber a versao do amule digite na consola:
amule --version
olhe o meu amule --version

Rafael,

Tenta pegar o rpm source do wardevil e gera um rpm binário que vai funcionar. Se você instalar o binário dele direto, tem boas chances de não funcionar.

Você pode pedir pra alguém que tenha um FC3 pra compilar pra você um rpm a partir do source do wardevil, se você achar que teu computador não dá conta.

Outra coisa, o rpm vêm com o nome de quem empacotou dentro dele. Tecla:

$ rpm -qi aMule | grep Packager

Sem o "| grep Packager", você pode ver um monte de outras informações.

to com uma duvida.
seus rpms tem a parte grafica do amule?
ou eh so amuled, amulecmd e amuleweb?
tenho q rodar o grafico pois os usuarios que vao utilizar não tem muita experiencia com linux.

Sim os meus rpms sao para ambiente X mas posso arranjar pra sem ambiente X....

eu ainda nao testei.
vi o post hj e to no trabalho.
so quando chegar em casa de noite.
eu rodo o kde 3.4 no servidor.
tenho q manter o servidor o mais amigavel possivel por causa de meus irmaos, que nao tem noção nenhuma de linux.
to pensando em usar meu pc q tem linux (comprei semana passada) compilar um fonte daqueles q vc tem la e depois copiar pela rede pro servidor e executar.
Acho q instalei todas as bibliotecas disponiveis do kde q vem no cd de instalação do fc3.
duvidas:
como compilar rpm fonte? :] me esqueci o comando. tem q ser voltado pra kde, com ambiente grafico e kadmilia ativado. Não precisa de amuleweb, amuled nem amulecmd.
tenho q remover o amule do servidor e depois instalar de novo? ou posso atualizar?To com download pra caramba adiantado e se remover pra depois instalar de novo, ele vai ter q buscar todas as fontes na internet de novo e demora pacas.
outra coisa:
formatei recentemente meu servidor pq tinha instalado muita "porcaria" e mexido em muitos serviços nele, etc e tal. antes qdo abria o amule, ele levava um tempao qdo iniciava. ele dava a mensagem de start q tem na telinha info na orelha servidor  e "congelava" a tela. e so liberava depois de uns 2-3 minutos dizendo q um arquivo la tinha sido carregado. e funcionava blz.
agora ele inicia naum leva nem 10 segundos e ja ta pronto pra usar. q sera aquilo?
tem jeito de resolver pra nao dar esse problema de novo?

Amigos,
Sinto muito mas ainda não tive a oportunidade de compilar o rpm para compartilhar o resultado com vcs hj.
Acabei saindo do trabalho muito tarde. (meu horario é 18h e sai 20:30h). :O
phoenix? Como meu SO é o fedora é so substituir redhat naquelas linhas por fedora neh? qualquer coisa eu busco os outros diretorios apos ele. np
Agora algumas duvidas.
pq tenho q pressionar control+d ? e onde vai para o rpm compilado? Como acho ele? O nome permanece o mesmo ou ele sofre alguma alteracao? tipo fica o nome da distribuicao nele.
Hj  sem falta faço isso. Ou pelo menos tentar.
Qualquer duvida posto mensagens aqui para erros ou dificuldades que eu tenha durante o processo.

Ps: Ah alguma ideia do pq ocorreu aquele problema? eu acredito que exista um arquivo que ele "anota" as fontes disponiveis para os arquivos com certas informacoes sobre eles. certo?
ou algo similar a isso. e parece que esse arquivo aumentou muito de tamanho pq ele não estava "reciclando" as informações dele. sera isso?

ah sim,
tem q remover o amule do servidor antes de instalar esse novo rpm ou posso usar o rpm update ?
o q vcs recomendam?
não fiz muitas configurações no amule entao naum tem problema remove-lo.
mas acredito, me corrigam se eu estiver errado, que se for atualizar o rpm as dependencias de um podem chegar a suprir a falta no outro.
vcs q sabem, pra mim tanto faz.

Caraca, uma coisa de cada vez :D

1) Taí uma coisa que eu não sei. Como eu venho fazendo upgrade na minha máquina desde os tempos do RedHat, eu não sei se numa instalação fresca do FC ele vai escrever redhat ou fedora. Acredito que deva ficar redhat mesmo, porque RPM quer dizer "redhat package manager", portanto...

2) A estrutura de diretórios é:

Os rpms vão ser provavelmente colocados no diretório /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386

3) é pra sair do shell, é um alias normalmente usado para o comando "exit". Você tem que entrar como super-usuário pra fazer o que eu falei. Tem jeito de você configurar a sua máquina pra você poder gerar rpms como usuário normal, mas ia dar trabalho pra eu te explicar, como root é mais fácil.

4) Não sei de que problema você está falando, desculpe.

5) Pode dar rpm -Uvh direto, não precisa remover antes. O update remove o anterior antes de instalar o novo, e mesmo que não exista antes nenhum antigo, ele funciona.

6) Suas configurações ficam no seu diretório /home/rafael/.aMule, o rpm não vai tocar nelas mesmo que você desinstale o aMule. O que quer dizer que você não perde seus créditos nem seus arquivos já baixados.

7) Não entendí o que você quis dizer com dependências de um suprir as do outro.

Parece-me que você não instalou o rpm do gtk-devel.

Pode tanto instalar o rpm quanto desativar o systray que o erro deve ir embora.

instalei agora de manha o aiksaurus-gtk-devel-1.2.1-2.i386.rpm.
ja tinha instalado o wxGTK-2.4.2-1.i386.rpm ontem a noite antes de tentar compilar.
hj de manha ele retornou o mesmo erro. naum tem nenhum parametro q devo passar pro rpmbuild fora o -bb ?

Voce tem de instalar o pacote gtk-devel ,mas antes tem de instalar o pacote wxGTK e o wxGTK-devel para depois entao compilar o amule....
Isto e um trabalho k voce tem agora(instalar as aborrecidas dependencias) mas depois de feito funciona beleza....  :))
