I was sure as configuring  without debug should result in no debug, but maybe the debug var is changing this later. I wrote the base for this bak in 2004, so my memory is not that reliable in that case.

But I'm experimenting with letting cmake manage this stuff for upnp atm, if this works I can update this stuff here, too.

I have a problem/bug with this GIT download.

Since I moved from
svn co https://github.com/amule-project/amule/trunk amule
to
git clone https://github.com/amule-project/amule.git
a very old (i remember this issue) problem are still there.

After a lot of hours running the upload become very low (ca. 5-10 MBit/s) and the KAD become yellow instead of green.
How log it takes to act like this is different, yesterday this dont happend, today it does.
How to find such a bug?

This is a real old problem, and I guess if noone want to capture all traffic until this happens and does some real deep analysis, this maybe will stay for even longer. But if I get you right, this not happened with the old method. I'm pretty sure, as the repo should point to the same code, this shouldn't make a difference, but maybe you could run a short diff to verify this. Are there any other things different?

Do you compile both with you're checkintall workflow? You've installed the other variant of the asio code, as it's easier to iinclude that one with cmake, so maybe this makes the difference or in general the socket could be the factor that influences this.
