Maybe your bug is already fixed so please compile aMule from CVS-Repository.
Don't forget to compile your version with enable-debug and post your backtrace like described on this wiki page if the developer version still crashes.

hm, every cvs i've tried did the same after ~6-10 hours.

only if i use KAD without any server or in combination with a "small" server (less then 10000 users) it works great.
this doesn't make any trouble to me :] but it couldn't be a problem of my debian-box, the same happened on w2k with a similar cvs.
