Hello guys,
i installed amule (apt-get install amule) and changed the configuratoins so,that i normally can use the webserver. But on startup of aMule i get the message that no webserver is installed. So i tried to install it (apt-get install amuled & apt-get install amuleweb) but i got this error message:

Da Sie nur eine einzige Operation angefordert haben ist es sehr wahrscheinlich,
dass das Paket einfach nicht installierbar ist und eine Fehlermeldung über
dieses Paket erfolgen sollte.
Die folgenden Informationen helfen Ihnen vielleicht, die Situation zu lösen:

Die folgenden Pakete haben nichterfüllte Abhängigkeiten:
  amuled: Hängt ab: libc6 (>= 2.3.5-1) aber 2.3.2.ds1-22 soll installiert werden
          Hängt ab: libgcc1 (>= 1:4.0.1) aber 1:3.4.3-13 soll installiert werden
          Hängt ab: libstdc++6 (>= 4.0.2) aber 3.4.3-13 soll installiert werden
          Hängt ab: libwxgtk2.6-0 (>= 2.6.1.2) ist aber nicht installierbar

Afaik is the name of package containing the webserver amule-utils.
About your error: I assume that you have Sarge and tried to install a package for Etch (testing).
Let's quote the wiki as long it's available:

aMule stable release

You can just install latest stable aMule version through debs adding the following lines into your /etc/apt/sources.list file:

 deb http://amule-debian.dyndns.org/ debian/

Now run apt-get update && apt-get install amule

These are the packages you'll need.

and how can i completly remove my old version? i think i always install the same ..... first i want to remove my old one =)

do you still have install source? if so do "make uninstall"
if you dont have them anymore, delete /usr/local/bin/amule* and /usr/local/share/amule...that should be it...

if not /usr/local/bin/ and /usr/local/share/amule its the same path without the /local/

if you installed debs, they get updated automatically

And kick Vollstrecker's repository out of your sources.list. These packages are for testing / Etch and you are running stable / Sarge. They won't work...

okay, i kicked Vollstrecker´s repository, but if i deinstall amule (dpkg -i amule), and take the new website to install amule ( deb http://amule-debian.dyndns.org/ debian/ ), i get the same one. The new installed amule has the same generated options and has already the same downloads in list. Its like i had never deinstall amule.
And i get same same mistakes like with the other version. Can someone help me ?

It's no problem, you just uninstalled the package not the settings. They are stored in the hidden directory .aMule in your home-dir.

okay but i have the same problem with my webserver .. it isnt installed after the amule installation and so i cant start it... do you know a solution

I think the webserver is in the package amule-utils. Try installing this package.

With my repository it's in amule-console-utils, although amule-utils is just a dummy package and should pull that in, too.

okay i installes amule-utils and it works, but one more problem. If i go on the website of my webserver (to see my files) i cant join the programm if i enter a passwort, but if i enter nothing i can enter the programm. So everybody is allowed to enter it.
Do you know why the server doesnt accept my password??
i uploaded a picture of my settings. (sorry its in german, but i think you know what what is.)  =)

search the forum for "remote.conf" or your problem and you will find an answer
