Hi *mule devs, *mule beta-testers and *mule users!
Yesterday I was digging a bit in history, and I found out that we nearly forgot a birthday: :]
On January 28th, 2003 the lmule source code first hit sourceforge's cvs. I found some pre-versions on my system, the oldest dated January 25th, 2003.
So I'm proud to say I was an lmule beta-tester of the first hour.
furax- (I can't remember how I met him) introduced me to the lmule dev team --- well the team only consisted of Tiku coding lmule and furax- supporting him at that time --- and I became an official lmule dev on February 18th, 2003, starting with i18n of lmule.
I think it's time again to thank Tiku for starting this project. :baby: :baby: :baby:
Without his efforts maybe there would still be no *mule for Linux.
I was watching a sourceforge project named linmule before, but they didn't come further than 10 commits on cvs and never released any files.
If anyone says "Thank you for this *mule!", you always can say: "Thank Tiku first."

But I don't want to forget to thank all the other people that contributed to *mule, sometimes going though hard times, but still staying faithfully with the *mule project.
Sometimes I was busy in the past (and I think this will not change much in the future), so I could not contribute much to amule, but with every post on the amule cvs mailinglist I enjoy the continuation of the *mule project for Linux.
Greets to all my old (yes, that's you, Madcat) and new dev fellows,
your pure_ascii.
