I tried to downgrade to amuled_2.0.3+CVS20051130-1_i386.deb and search works fine...

Maybe it's a problem with the 'bad' servers.

I don't think. I've tried some servers but all of them give me few search results.
However i connect always with Razorback2..

Try kicking out all servers except e.g. donkeyserver1+2 and cheztoff (and your beloved RB2 if you insist on...) and searching again. (Just to ensure that it is not aMules fault)

The best way is imho to use kad-only.

Search using kad produces nothing!!
I've tried to clean .aMule directory and and reconfigure all, but the problem still exists  X(
The only solution, now, is to downgrade aMule ;(

I just compiled aMule (tested with monolithic) on my Kate OS-machine and search works fine.
Kad needs some seconds until the results are displayed (about 403 just after starting with a new nodes.dat), search on donkeyserver 1+2 showed me instandly 300 results. (I searched for the term 'debian')

OK, I'll boot the machine again and test with amuled and amuleweb...;)
Edit: Webinterface looks strange...and search seems not to work at all.
I'll try again with libgd-devel and libpng-devel installed...
Edit2: Won't be today, sry.

Eventually installed on Ubuntu due to the lack of gd in the kate os repositories.

Search does not work using the webinterface and the preferences are somewhat strange as well...

That's something that should be checked 'til the release of 2.10.

Search works here, kad and servers.

What's strange about prefs?

Sorry, was my fault, I've disabled javascript, that was the issue with the preferences.

Local and global search does work, but there are very few results (around 20 with only one source for the search term 'debian'; mostly just .torrents)
The output of aMule if I start a search is the following:
Quote
PHP Warning: Sorting array of size 0

The kad-page in the webinterface is blank and I cannot search using kad, don't have enough time atm to build remote gui to check this out.

I use 20051214-tarball.
