A basic guide to using kad for newbies
« on: January 03, 2006, 02:28:00 PM »

Hi
i can't find & wish o wish for 4:

1. a basic guide to using / setting up  kad for amule newbies - which would be great........as i'm clueless......
2. also a kind of definitive recommendation list of ed2k servers which to keep , whilst also a list which
    to delete...
3. a more newbie friendly guide to setting download/upload ratios , including a series of recommended
settings & explanations - i ask this as i had to guesstimate my settings and it was really wrong as i did't really have a clue....which i think many of us may not....!
4.maybe a little more of a guide to the other preferences settings & how using them as a clueless newbie wonder can give gradually more control ........

IF
its any help, i posted the above after an extensive read of the wiki.
I admit the preferences section is adequate in wiki, but for newbies .........
i still would request a simplified friendlier versions in the way  of the above................
