Troubles launching amule

Hi,
I have some troubles with amule. I use Ubuntu 5.10. The version available from the Breezy repositories freezes the computer a few minutes after it starts, so I tried to install version 2.1.0: first downloading some precompiled package and then with Automatix. In any case, when launching amule I get this long list of messages and then amule doesn't start.

The copy of wxWidgets which aMule was compiled against is different from the one you have installed. Basically you need to either recompile aMule, or installed the matching library.

I have tried yto install the older version of wxwidgets but nothing changes. I have also installed amule from the CVS repositories after removing all wx libraries but still the same error...

Probably you didn't remove the old version properly. Please look at /usr/lib _and_ /usr/local/lib.
