Forum search somewhat broken
« on: March 06, 2006, 05:48:58 AM »

In addition to the text encoding problems, the server migration seems to also have created issues with the forum search. It's not that it doesn't work, but it seems to return far fewer results than it should.

For instance, a search for "panther" returns 0 results, even though it should return threads like this one and this one.

Is there a way to re-index all pages, so that the search is comprehensive again?

Since forum search is down not very useful..., why no modify the google seach button to look in "amule.org" instead of "www.amule.org"

Is there really no way to just reindex all pages? Searching the page via google is sometimes quite a nightmare.

Very cool -- thanks a lot, Kry! :)

Hopefully this will stop the recent wave of duplicate threads.
