Title: nerd configuration
Post by: kikus on July 18, 2006, 12:06:16 PM
hello i use mac X 10.4.7 on a G4 400mhz , an adsl 1Mbit /300K
i use these configuration

- donwload limit 90 Kbps
- upload limit 30 Kbps
- slot 3Kbps
- max source 500
- max connections 300

the uploads are ok . at average of 30 Kbps , but the dowloads are slow , at average of 6Kbps

Howe can i configure these settings in order to increase the dowloaded speed,

Thanks

Wow, I'm impressed that you are able to run aMule on your G4 400mhz -- based on other reports we got and based on experiences with my previous G4 867mhz I would not have expected that.

I would probably use a lower number of connections (I use 120 or so) but otherwise your settings seem reasonable, so unfortunately I don't have a good idea what you could change to get better download rates. I assume you are highID (i.e. you have properly forwarded aMule's ports in your router), right?
