Title: aMule 1.1.1b: Search does not work
Post by: eagle on November 04, 2003, 10:24:11 AM
Hi all,

IŽm new in this forum, and IŽm using aMule now since a week.
First of all: thank you for this wonderful Program, itŽs really much
better than otherŽs (MLDonkey :-) !

OK, the last version I used (1.1.0) was working great, but
after one week of continously runtime, it used up to 170 MB RAM :-(

So I tried the new one (1.1.1b), and to my surprise the search-function
which was working in 1.1.0 doesnŽt work anymore :-(
And yes, I started amule with LC_LANG set and so on...

Even a global search of a single letter ("a" for example) doesnŽt work :-(

My Linux-Box is running 24/7, T-DSL 768/128 kBit/s, AMD-K6 CPU with
350 MHz, Debian Woody, Kernel 2.4.20, Uptime 214 days :-)

If you need more infos, please tell me...

Any ideas? :-)

Title: Search is now working (after ours)

Hi deltaHF,

sorry, but now after a few ours runtime of the 1.1.1b the search
worked like it should :-)

The crazy thing is that in the old version (1.1.0) the search was working
just from the beginning, I mean after a few minutes runtime...

But now everything is OK, except the huge Mem-leaks, but IŽm sure
this will be fixed soon :-)

Many thanks again for this wonderful programm!
