Xaignar,

Shouldn't there be the svn revison number on svn tarball built executables?

ecforum,

I don't think this has anything to do with your kernel version, 2.4.x should be as good as 2.6.x. Can you give us more information, like if you were doing any particular action with the program at the time of the crash?

Xaignar,

IIRC, it only does so when .svn dirs are present.

Hello,

I am agree with you concerning my kernel.
Concerning this kind of crash of amule they occur always when amule is maximized but when it has not the focus : other applications are maximized in front of it. I am using these applications and 1 or 2 hours later when I want to look at amule I remark that it is dead. Many (all ?) of the bt that I posted occured in these conditions.

I will use amule in debug again and I hope to give useful bt...

Hi ecforum,

One other suggestion is to compile wxWidgets yourself, if possible.

Hello,

I already compile wxWidget myself :
./configure --with-gtk=2  --prefix=/usr/local/wxGTK-2.8.7 --enable-timedate --disable-stl --enable-gui --enable-plugins --enable-shared --enable-optimise --enable-protocol --enable-http --enable-ftp --with-opengl --enable-sockets --enable-streams --enable-file --enable-textfile --disable-debug --disable-debug_gdb --disable-mem_tracing --disable-profile --disable-ole --enable-timer --enable-unicode --enable-config --enable-protocols --with-regex --with-sdl --enable-controls --enable-log --enable-compat26 --enable-compat24 --with-libpng --with-libjpeg --with-libtiff --with-libxpm --with-zlib --with-expat

I had no problem today with amule...

Just for the records, I do:
Code: [Select]
./configure \
        --enable-mem_tracing \
        --enable-debug \
        --disable-optimise \
        --enable-debug_flag \
        --enable-debug_info \
        --enable-debug_gdb \
        --with-opengl \
        --enable-gtk2 \
        --enable-unicode \
        --enable-largefile \
        --prefix=${WXWIDGETS_INSTALL_DIR} \
        && \
        make > /dev/null &&
        make install > /dev/null
But that is a heavy debug build. Removing the debug options would also be fine.

I get this crash also. Simply leave aMule running with the queue list displayed. I'll look into it.

I found the problem, thanks for the help. It should be fine in tomorrows snapshot.

Wouaouh ! Very nice !!  :)
That is the only bug that was still here for months and crashed my amule.
That is a really important correction (for the end-user) !

Many thanks.  :)
