Title: Default locale
Post by: Supersnail on March 27, 2004, 07:46:40 PM
I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's just my computer.

I've just installed aMule 2.0.0RC1 and when I started it the first time the language was set to Finnish, while my locale is set to nl
Quote
sh-2.05b$ locale
LANG=dutch
LC_CTYPE="nl_NL"
LC_NUMERIC="nl_NL"
LC_TIME="nl_NL"
LC_COLLATE="nl_NL"
LC_MONETARY="nl_NL"
LC_MESSAGES="nl_NL"
LC_PAPER="nl_NL"
LC_NAME="nl_NL"
LC_ADDRESS="nl_NL"
LC_TELEPHONE="nl_NL"
LC_MEASUREMENT="nl_NL"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="nl_NL"
LC_ALL=nl_NL

To set it to Dutch I had to start aMule, set the language to Dutch and restart aMule again twice before the language was set to Dutch.

I've tested it a few times by deleting ~/.aMule/lastversion and starting aMule and everytime I have the problem described above.

same here, but setting the language and starting twice is a good workaround ;-)
