I would like to report a serious font problem:
It occurs anyway on GNOME, KDE or XFCE.
All fonts in main panels appear totally black.
The only way to change the color is to set it from the general options and not from aMule ones.
It is the only program suffering from this issue.
Would you please let me know how to solve this problem? I am visually impaired and cannot use white background at all.
I'm willing to cooperate.
Thank you very much.

Hi!
aMule uses wxGTK for drawing the GUI, so the settings should be configured for your GTK theme, not amule.
Regards.

In fact the problem is that the GTK theme works well for everything as it displays text in bright gray, while it's black in aMule!
Is there a way to render the text the same color as the link in the upper part of my screenshot?
Would be very appreciated. Thank you very much!

No reply still?
Please let me know! Which part of the code should I change? I'm willing to help!
Thank you so much!

Either you look into wxGTK sources to see why it doesn't regard theme colours (recommended), or you can change aMule sources to hardcode some colours into it.

I really would prefer the latter option, given that aMule is the only application that suffers from this problem.
I'm kinda novice in this so could you please give me some more detailed explanations?
Thank you very much!
Best regards.
