Hi .
I've noticed that after 7 hours of use , aMule use up to 24 % of my system memory (512MB) !! All the system seems slowed down .
There seem to be a memory leak.
Thanks!!

Does it impact other programs you're running? If it isn't, why do you complain?
-
Maybe it has no effect on other programs but it will have after 3 days of running. Memory leaks are pretty bad, especially for a program like amule which can be run for days without crashing.
-
Maybe the memory usage won't increase anymore... (btw, amule is using 270 MB after 3 days here, but I still have >60 MB free, so I don't complain).

Ender ! That was a good one ... You do have a fine sense of humour

I'm not complaining , I'm just reporting a Bug .
aMule works anyway , but I have my system very slowed down , and this is not normal .
I think that this should be corrected .
I've tried aMule max for 13 - 14 hours , and the memory usage was at 30% , and it continued to rise .
Thanks

unfortunatly i think he's serious :|
Ender! AnonimoVeneziano is trying to report a bug! If you are not a developer (and you aren't) why on Earth do you ask him to shut up???

I agree with Lo'oRiS. memory leaks are serious bugs. It means the prog can't run continuously, which is imho bad for a p2p cuz it should run 'forever'...
btw does anybody know whazzup with xmule (1.7 now) and amule? I mean, will they continue seperate, maybe merge, or whatever?!?!?

I don't see any merging plan with xMule in my TODO list ...

Neither do I in mine, boy.

but memory leaks (amule1.1.0,mdk9.1, 1024, amd2.2) make my pc crash down every 60-80 hours without any others process and protect by a good routeur...
