Maximized amule to check progress this morning and I cannot see the download or upload lists in the transfere window. . The iems are there, because I can riight click where the filename should be hit details and see the details. Then when I do this once in a while the filename, progressbar, and all pop up for a second or two........whats up? ?(

1.2.6?
(geez.... I would love people to tell me which version are they using when they post a bug)
-
prefs -> tweaks -> refresh up/dl list set to realtime
greets
-
Thank you. Things are cool now 8).
Right....that was version 1.2.6
Good show folks. Great product.
Hey what does the little green symbol to the left of certain filenames mean in the transfere window.
-
By the way. I thought perhaps something had become corrupt, so i uninstalled, planning to reinstall. After ubinstalling, i notice the .amule directory still in my user folder, so I renamed it and reinstalled. All settings remained the same. Where are the other parts of the installation that remained?
Thanks

Hey folks. I changed a couple of settings in tweaks, as posted yesterday. Now overnight the files in the transfer window are not visable. Tried unchecking hitting ok and checking and nothing. Restart.....nothing.........Restart the machine and it will not run ;( ;( .....wazzup?
Maybe I need to delete all the files associated with the program and reinstall?
Fedora core 1
I was running for a few weeks with no problems. Hackers? I am behind a router, always have been.
-
hey
it will not run!? could you be a little be direct?
and have you set the slider in amuletweaks to realtime? so that you can see your downloads?

I click the icon and nothing happens no error.....zip, zero, nada. Nothing with the executable in /user/bin either.
-
All other programs run.....I installed mplayer and all dependencies last night, but shut down and restarted amule after that, no probs.
I just restarted again still will not do anything. ?(
-
hmm
try to run it in the console and there should definatly be an output
$ amule
for example

I get a segmentation fault, as you can see below. Any solutions?
[bill@localhost bin]$ ./amule
Segmentation fault
[bill@localhost bin]$ amule
Segmentation fault
[bill@localhost bin]$

try to move your .aMule folder and .eMule file and let amule create a new one ..
-
Nope. :( Does not rebuild and rlates same error message when started from command line.
-
OK. I reinstalled using YUM. Now I get this error message:

-
what amule rpm do u use exactly ?
-
hey
and did you also update your wxGTk packages ?!
I used fedora for a while also and they provide newer once that we do...
so when you do a yum update it will also update wxGTK and wxBase and amule will not work anymore
do a
$ rpm -qa | grep wx*
and post the output here please...

The rpm currently installed was feched by YUM. When I began having trouble it was the FC-i386 from one of your mirrors.
