Amule (2.2.6 Windows) crashes when performing some searches with KAD and then navigation in these searches (choosing different search-TABs, closing search-TABs etc.).
It is possible that this error can be achieved by fast clicking in the search-TABs, it does not happen every time.

Can you try if the SVN version crashes too under that condition?
-
Have not tried the SVN-versions to date, but will try to do later...
I have had the crash some seconds ago, Amule crashes when closing some search-tabs with very short pauses between.
By Examle: Two Tabs are shown, close the rightest Tab by clicking on the close-cross, the Tab disdappears, the click the next close-cross of the now rightest search-Tab, amule gets buisy, the sandclock shows, then it crashes.

The latest SVN does not seel to have that problem, so we can wait for the next version ... :)

Good. I dimly remember something was fixed with closing search tabs some time ago. :)

This bug is triggered only occasionally, but here is a way to reproduce it more or less reliably:
1. Do a search that yields several hundred results (searches with only a handful of result lines don't seem to cause problems).
2. Without closing the first result tab, do another search.
3. Close the second result tab.
In my case (amule 2.2.6 remote control on Windows 7, amuled running elsewhere) it hangs rather than crashes. The hang is detectable by Windows, so the event loop probably gets broken.

This would be a valuable bug analysis except that I believe that bug is fixed. Actually has been fixed for so long that I don't remember the details. And external connect in current SVN has a LOT of changes compared to 2.2.6 .
Please try if you can reproduce the problem with current SVN.

Stu, sorry, couldn't test it because of a protocol version mismatch. I am running amuled 2.2.6-1 on MIPSEL hardware (DD-WRT router), and this seems to be the latest binary available for that platform.
