Title: 2.0rc3/5/CVS: Display bug/Shared Files list
Post by: KingFish on May 02, 2004, 12:24:12 AM
Hi Devs!

First of all, many thx for this very stable rc3! (For me the first 2.0 release which I'm able to really use ;))
I noticed a little bug: On the Shared Files list, the obtained parts display is messed up. It either is solid light blue (like 1 source with all chunks seen), or solid red (as it has never seen a source with a chunk).
It's nothing bothersome, just to let you know.

Keep up your great work!

EDIT: Bug still in 2.0.0rc5.
EDIT2: I switched to CVS the last days, and the bug is still present there.

Yes it seems like completed files are in red and the ones not completed are in blue, but not really showing any relevant info...

Thanx a lot for the report. Added to v2-RC3 Known Bugs list ;-)
Greetings!

Because you are using a clean cvs and they have a line commented, Jacobo :P

Sorry to disappoint you all, but the bug is still in the 2.0 series (just tested 2.0.0rc5). In 1.2.8 it's working fine.

EDIT: It's also present in CVS.
A more specific description on the bug: New hashed files which has never been seen by a client are solid red and get solid light blue (1 full source) as soon as they got requested once or if the hash is successfully loaded from known.met. Of course it's nothing bothersome, but for me it's a nice feature I'd like to continue to use as it shows how a release is spread. Thx alot for your hard work!
