Title: Transfer window sorting
Post by: Guest on November 19, 2003, 09:11:54 PM
In the Transfers window, when you click on a column header to sort by, say, Priority, it does the sort but it is not persistent i.e. when you roll-up the file's sources and roll it back down, it will no longer be sorted.  However, on eMule for Win32, this works. I have noticed this with xMule and now with aMule.

Hi Bartman, this bug is already known and fixed in CVS.

Title: sort and crash
Post by: Guest on November 20, 2003, 02:32:50 PM
Thanks, Citroklar, now all I have to do is figure out how to d/l the latest cvs version or wait for a release, right?

Also, aMule crashes so often, I have taken to using xMule v1.7.0 (yuck!) in the meantime, which runs continuously.  I have created a cron job to run a script to detect when aMule crashes and relaunch it, but it crashes so often, and takes too long to get back into queues and d/l's suffer too much.

I'll try a cvs snapshot to see if it's more stable for me.

Regards, Bart

Be assured, the devs are working on it - they do not like amule to be unstable, too....

Hi DeltaHF,

I'm not the strongest Linux user out there.  How about suggesting some command line queries I could run to answer some of those questions?  I have wxGTK-4.4.1-1 and gtk2-2.2.1-4 installed.  I'm running RedHat 9 on an IBM NetVista.  I have compiled a few versions of xMule but for aMule I used the v1.1.2 rpm.

I did mean wxGTK-2.4.1-1, sorry.  But I have no idea how to know if aMule is using wxGTK or GTK1 or GTK2.  Do I have to uninstall wxGTK?  Then some other things won't work.

I also have no freakin' idea what efnet is, probably IRC and I don't do IRC.

Thanks for helping.

Sorry, I guess I mean I don't know how to link wxGTK to GTK1 vs. GTK2.

Title: Transfer window sorting still not working!

Well, I just compiled v1.2.0 and I still don't have persistent sorting in the transfer window.

NE1 else have this problem?  You sort the download client list by Priority (click on priority column header) then roll up the download (double-click), open it up again and it's no longer sorted?  Just jumping from one download to another causes the sorting to mess up.
