Title: view files does not work

Hi !
So far  aMule-2.0.0rc5 is great, i don't use amule 1.2.6 anymore.
My only problem is that whenever i try "view files" i get "Failed to retrieve shared files".

I didn't understand what you try to do, but since its about shared files, maybe this gets it working:
tm ~/.aMule/known.met
Then start aMule again and let it hash al the shared files again (logn time and heavy CPU).

You are, AFAICS, trying to view the files of another user, right?
Please note that by default, both aMule and eMule disallows other people from viewing your files, so unless the user has enabled it him or her-self, you will get an error, since their client will refuse to send the filelist.

it even crashed for me when i wanted to see the shared files of a overnet client

well, problem is, im absolutely not able to compile aMule with debug, normaly i dont have so many problems with compiling programms, but aMule has sooo wierd dependencies that i cant compile it.. :-( and i also cant reproduce it...

aMule compiles fine if the system is clean ;)

post your compilation pb's and what linux u use

well, i passed severall problems, but now im stuck at this

/usr/include/wx/gtk/win_gtk.h:18:21: gdk/gdk.h: No such file or directory

when using make. It passed the ./configure, i dont know why it didnt reported that i dont have the gtk developer headers installer(but it also didnt saw that i didnt had the crytploop(or simliar name) headers installed)
But my problem is, i dont know what the name of the pakage is that i need to install... for cryptloop and some others it was easy, but im stuck at this one
