Clicking on clear does the exact same thing as clear-all on the search tab.

You mean it removes the tabs as well?

No, but I was under the impression that clear would just clear the text box, as thats what makes sense to me, as opposed to also resetting the Extended Parameters.

Clear -> Remove the inoput fro the box
Clear all -> remove the input from the box + remove the search tabs already opened
This is working ok here, check if it's ok to you there too.

For me clear will also reset the file type extended parameters, but does not close the tabs.

No. It makes sense for clear to JUST clear the text box to its left. As well it makes sense for CLEAR ALL to...well clear ALL.

Well, "clear" is just acting as eMule's "clear" button acts. So I guess it's how 99% people would think it should be. Sorry :-P
