i don't know if others have the same bugs on suse 9.1 but these are the ones i get, i am using xorg on kde 3.3.
i installed it using the ready made rpms from
http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/9.1-i386/RPMS.suser-gbv/
anyway amules is briliant but seems to lock up the computer on various occasions (only mouse moves can't click anywhere)
1. this is a strange one but when i click the maximise button the screen goes black and the computer goes to the login manager (KDM) and i have to login again.
2. this happens every time, if i start and exit Azureus before starting aMule when i start aMule the computer hangs, however if i start Azureus i can start aMule, this only happens if i exit Azureus, before starting aMule.
3. if i click cancel download on a download the program hangs the computer.
donno if this is specific to my computer or other suse 9.1 ppl have the same issue!

kapta: looks _VERY_ strange, since there are many SuSE users around and no one has reported those problems (ok, manybe non of them use Azareus, but about 1 and 3... hehehe).
Check your system configuration and which apps are running at the same time. What's more, it's strange that the kernel crashes :-/
Greetings!

ok i think i've found the source of the problem it was xorg, i downgraded to xfree86 again and amule works fine and does not crash any more, however the crashes are only there when used with xorg (6.8.0).

hm, if someone else has problems on xorg, please report. This is an unknown bug up to now...
