Upgraded aMule and wx-gtk. Sadly, system seemed to be much more loaded with this one. HDD LED blinked much more frequently then with former version :(
I decided to switch bakc to rc5 which worked fine (yeah, if it wasn't broken, then why-oh-why...)
uninstalled rc6 and new wxgtk and installed rc5 and older wxGTK. But, surprise! Old aMule isn't working AT ALL:
OOPS! - Seems like aMule crashed

maybe deleting .eMule file and .aMule folder will do the trick?
Regards.
-
and btw.. did you read the changelog Minder? AICH was added in rc6, what means aMule will rehash your files at the first runtime.. many files -> can take some time .. ;)
cheers
-
Yeah, "swapping" was really generating of new hashes - sorry.
But the crash is real...
-
and the crash happens everytime, right after startup?
-
Try removing the file "clients.met" in your .aMule folder in your homedir.
