It seems like that kioslave has crashed meanwhile you ran aMule.
I suppose aMule runs fine, doesn't it?
-
aMule run fine 2 or 3 hours... afterwards aMule crash...
-
then we need a backtrace ( take a look here -> http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Backtraces )
-
I wait a little more and the problem is:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

it can be a wxgtk 2.5.3 problem .. try to remove it and recompile wxgtk+wxbase 2.4.2, then recompile amule
-
i can't compile aMule rc8 with wxGTK and wxBase 2.4.2

does it crash right after startup or while running or.. ?
-
while running... 2 or 3 hours later... with wxGTK-2.5.3 aMule crash when i change preferences but now with 2.4.2 it just crash sometimes...
edit: with 2.5.3 aMule crash while running too
-
pm me your .eMule file plz ( /home/user/.eMule )
and maybe if you compiled amule with --enable-optimize --disable-debug try now the other way: --enable-debug --disable-optimize
cheers
-
marcof,
You don't have debug symbols in your executable, the aMule generated backtrace is usually too little information, without debugging symbols, it's almost useless.
Try to follow these instructions to generate a nice backtrace:
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Backtraces
Cheers!
