Hi,
I installed amule and amule-utils on Debian Sarge with apt-get. I put the webserver directory and amule.tmpl in .amule directory ans configured amule correctly.
Amule and the web server work fine but the amuleweb search result is bad with all type exept "Audio".
If the search is on "Audio" type the results are correct and files found, but with other type no result found.
Worse still, with the "Any" type it does not find anything whereas it should at least see the files founded with the "Audio" type.
Of course, I tested the same research from the Amule GUI and the results are corrects.
What is necessary to make?
Thanks

What version of amule are you talking about ? I tested search after recent changes and it looks ok. Can you check with cvs snapshot version (both amule and amuleweb) ?

lfroen -> aMule Project » English » en_Bugs » aMule 2.0.0rc7 No result found with amuleweb search ;)
Valery, i remember there was a small problem with rc7.. you will have to wait for debians rc8 if you don't want to compile it yourself, but i don't know how long debian needs to release it :(
cheers

The version is the debian testing (Sarge) instaled with apt-get.
It's actually the 2.0.0rc7 :
Package: amule (1.2.6+rc7-1)
and
Package: amule-utils (1.2.6+rc7-1)
I'll test the cvs version...
Thanks for your response

hum, just saw there is something like 1.2.6+rc7-2 but no idea how to get it

I tested the debian unstable 2.0.0-rc7-2 and the problem is exactly the same one.
I tested the cvs of 12-28-04, with compiling amule and amuleweb. The problem is almost the same one but into worse !
In this case, the amuleweb search on type = "Any" is good but the searchs on amule GUI on others types no found result !!
But I found from which the problem comes.
It's become from french translation !! If setting of Amule is "English" and not "french" the amule and amuleweb search works fine with all types !
I tested with the all versions (rc7-1, rc7-2, cvs) it's the same problem.
Perhaps an abusive translation which affects research. I dont known if the problem is the same one in others translations.
I'll write bugreport in debian and post a message in french forum and translation forum.

I keep forgetting this bug, even when I know it perfectly

I have this behaviour, but not only in webserver, this happens in amule search tab too. I get results if I search "any" or "audio", but no results at all If I search other categories.
