Title: search tab poor use of screen real estate

I don't know if this is because the devs. don't have wxDesigner anymore or becuse they're too busy hacking on the core...

It's a nuisance on my 1024x768 14" 4:3 laptop screen, and it can only be worst on wisescreens since it's the vertical space which is lacking

Attached will soon be a (binary) patch outputing .wdr file which I use. If there is enough interrest, I'll bost a patch to the source as well so that people don't need wxDesigner to apply this mod.

PS: it sucks that the .wdr file is just above the filesize limit

actually I haven't understood very much what you said.
By the way I have noticed too that the search tab could be styled someway better, however I'm talking about amuleweb, (in amule the annoyance comes only when "advanced view" is enabled: it just eats too much space).

Anyway I hope amule devs will have a look to those aesthetic problems only after kademlia support is done ;) By that time have a good work!!!

Here's the patch for the source tree. You should like it; all the search options are packed into 2 lines (or 3 with extended options) vs. 2+1/2 (and 5+1/2 respectively)

If I'm not too lazy, I'll make a screenshot too.

Problem is, that can't be used. The search tab it's like it is because if we do what you propose, we lose all 800x600 users ;)

I didn't realise you had any 800x600 users, but that make me feel better about my own screen size :). I'll just keep this mod. for myself then.
